Cafcass, the Children and Family Court Advisory and Support Service, looks after the interests of children involved in family proceedings. They work with children and their families and then advise the courts on what they consider to be in the best interests of individual children. The Cafcass website contains lots of useful information and leaflets about parents separating, Contact and about Care proceedings. There are even some leaflets especially prepared for children to understand.
